We’ve felt like outcasts in Macau, in the US, anywhere we went. As third-culture kids, it's hard to find a place where we feel belonged, so we decided to create a space where others who felt the same can relate and feel belonged.

We were born and raised in Macau, we also went to a local school where everything was taught in Cantonese, no one used English then. Which also means we grew up writing essays in Chinese characters, memorizing poems and studying Chinese literature.
